A guilloche dial is in the works for my current work-in-progress watch. This one is a sample to finalise on the patterns for the inner and outer parts of the dial. Waiting to receive the final dial. It is amazing that the engraved pattern is only 0.
Doing some research for my movement development so I wanted to look at some vintage movements and make measurements. This is a Hamilton cal. 770 from around the mid 1950s. It still keeps good time, within a minute per day! It is beautifully finished

Prototype 02-A is my take on minimalism but with some character. I am a fan of minimalism, but most interpretations tend to lack identity, character and warmth. While the dial of this watch is black anodized satin finished aluminium, it is contrasted
Prototype 01-A is complete and functional. This design has the Art Deco inspired dial with a portal to view the movement’s escapement. The dial is made out of bronze and has an antiquing patina which gives it a deep brown, almost black finish.
